In the present investigation an attempt has been made for analysis of various physicochemical parameters of Nagaram Lake, located in the Nagaram village of Warangal district, Andhra Pradesh., India. It is situated at 18º 05´ 12.66´´ (N) latitude and 79 º 34´ 47.66´´ (E) longitude. Estimation of all the parameters was done with standard methods of APHA 21st Edn. The study revealed that the lake lead to eutrophication due to sewage contamination, agricultural wastes and human activities of surrounding environment. The present result indicated that total alkalinity, total hardness and phosphate values of this lake were towards the etrophication and not much use of humans and as well as aquatic animals. Keywords
